American Association of Airport Executives Joins the Alliance

The Alliance for Aviation Across America is excited to announce that the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) has joined the coalition. As a member of the Alliance, AAAE joins the over 5,800 members representing businesses, agricultural groups, FBO's, small airports, elected officials, charitable organizations, and leading business and aviation groups that support the interest of the general aviation community across various public policy issues.

Alliance Denounces Inclusion of User Fees in the President's Budget

The Alliance for Aviation Across America has released a letter  signed by over 100 mayors and town managers from 48 states to President Obama. The letter highlights the critical importance of general aviation to the national and local economies, and raises concerns about proposed new tax burden which would decimate small businesses and organizations around the country that depend on this important form of transportation.  The letter comes just days after the release of the President's FY 2013 budget plan, which proposed a $100 per flight fee on certain segments of general aviation.
